June 10, 1943

Dear Folks,
I just received the cuff links. Thank you. I also received letters from Jerry and Mary this week but I haven't had a chance to write. Matter of fact this is the third letter I have written this week. Honest- Inever have a minute to myself.
Everything is set for me to go home on the 12th. I hope you can meet me with the car for I have a load of junk. The train is suppose to come in at 9:38 at Grand Central.
I was issued my haki uniform on Tuesday, finally. I look like an Army boy now.
I am on my lunch hour and muster for chow is in two minutes so I will close now.
                                                                Your loving son,
                                                                              Jim
P.S. If I ever finish my cadet course I will I will be able to argue with Einstein about his theories. Boy, do they drum the work into you.
